23 Maoists Surrender in Chhattisgarh, Dealing Major Blow to Naxalism

Senior Commanders and Key Figures Among Those Who Surrendered

The group of surrendering Maoists carried a combined bounty of ₹1.18 crore, highlighting the significance of their decision. Among those who surrendered is a key figure implicated in the 2012 abduction of the Sukma district collector. Another individual was identified as a personal bodyguard to Hidma, a notorious Maoist commander.
