VHP Certifies Vegetarian Eateries for Kanwar Yatra Pilgrims in Delhi

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has launched a special initiative to cater to the dietary needs of pilgrims undertaking the Kanwar Yatra in Delhi. The organization is providing ‘Sanatani’ certification stickers to food vendors along the pilgrimage route, assuring devotees of purely vegetarian meals.

‘Sanatani’ Stickers Guarantee Traditional Vegetarian Food

These ‘Sanatani’ stickers serve as a visible marker for pilgrims, indicating that the certified establishments adhere to traditional Hindu dietary practices. This move comes after discussions around closing meat shops during the Yatra period, although the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) lacks the legal authority for such action.

Ensuring a Smooth and Fulfilling Pilgrimage Experience

By guaranteeing access to vegetarian food, the VHP aims to facilitate a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for the Kanwar Yatra devotees. The certification process provides reassurance and convenience to pilgrims seeking vegetarian options during their journey.
