Four Luminaries Nominated to Rajya Sabha: Prosecutor, Diplomat, RSS Leader, and Historian

President Droupadi Murmu has nominated four distinguished individuals to the Rajya Sabha, filling long-awaited vacancies. Meet the New Rajya Sabha Members

The four nominees are:

Ujjwal Nikam, a renowned lawyer, is best known for his role as special public prosecutor in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case. His legal acumen and dedication to justice have earned him national recognition.

Harsh Vardhan Shringla – The Seasoned Diplomat

Harsh Vardhan Shringla, a retired diplomat and former foreign secretary, brings a wealth of international experience to the Rajya Sabha. His distinguished career in the Indian Foreign Service spans several decades.

C Sadanandan Master – The Resilient Social Worker

C Sadanandan Master, a dedicated RSS worker, is known for his tireless social work and commitment to community development. His nomination recognizes his long-standing contributions to society.

Meenakshi Jain – The Preserver of History

Meenakshi Jain, a prominent historian, has dedicated her career to researching and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage. Her work has shed light on significant historical events and figures.

PM Modi Praises the Nominees
