Teen’s Quick Thinking Thwarts Kidnapping Attempt in Thane Auto-Rickshaw
A 16-year-old girl demonstrated incredible bravery and quick thinking when she foiled a kidnapping attempt in Bhiwandi, Thane, on July 9th. Her story is a testament to the importance of self-defense and awareness.
The Harrowing Escape
The girl was on her way to school in an auto-rickshaw when the driver refused to stop near her destination. Sensing danger, she quickly assessed her situation and decided to take action.
A Compass Used for Courage
Using a geometry compass she had in her school bag, the brave teenager defended herself against the driver. In a daring move, she then jumped from the moving auto-rickshaw. Despite the inherent risks, she managed to escape without serious injuries.
After her harrowing escape, she ran to school and immediately informed her mother and school authorities about the incident. Police were notified and are currently investigating the attempted kidnapping.
